The Institute for Policy Solutions at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing
Improving Health Through Nursing Innovation and Leadership
Everyone deserves the opportunity for a healthy life. Right now, that isn’t reality. We want to change that.
The Institute for Policy Solutions works with health policy leaders, innovators and researchers to redesign the U.S. health system. With the goal of shifting policy and practice to more preventive, value-based and whole-person care, the Institute elevates, develops and implements evidence-based, actionable nurse-led solutions. A focus on eliminating racist policies and structures entrenched in the country’s health care establishment and other systems underpins the Institute’s work.
New Resources for Ending the Latino HIV Crisis
We cannot end the U.S. HIV epidemic until we end the U.S. Latino HIV Crisis. The Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health (CLAFH) and the Institute for Policy Solutions have taken this year’s World AIDS Day theme—“Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress”—to heart. Access information and tools you can use to end the Latino HIV Crisis.

Find out how the Institute for Policy Solutions is working within the healthcare system and society at large to amplify the power of nursing leadership and nurse-led care to eliminate health and healthcare inequities.
