DEIB doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Through the efforts of Student Affairs, JHSON supports a number of student organizations where students can get involved, share diverse views, and work together to solve today’s culture and health care challenges.

Students can also get involved in health care efforts within the Baltimore community while earning service-learning credit and connecting with fellow students from the Schools of Medicine and Public Health through SOURCE (Student Outreach Resource Center). SOURCE works with a network of over 100 community-based organizations that provide opportunities for collaboration with people who are ethnically, racially, socioeconomically, etc. different from them.
