Focus Area:  Professor Ricardo Arcêncio is vice president of Brazilian Tuberculosis Research Network (REDE-TB), which engages different areas of knowledge and research, and was awarded by the World Health Organization as a strategic initiative for advancing on TB control. Professor Arcêncio is also leader of the Research Group of Operational and Epidemiological Studies on TB (GEOTB) at USP and is currently working with Dr. Reynolds on the impact of some technologies on TB care and equity in access to the health services and Primary Health Care in Brazil. This research is a continuity from the partnership began in Brazil when the participation of Dr. Reynolds on the international seminar “Social Determinants and equity in health and nursing” held in Ribeirão Preto – Brazil in 2019, which had Professor Nancy among its honor guests.
