Webinar Description:
In the previous series, we have discussed how Virtual Reality has been used in nursing education and how Augmented Reality is used in healthcare settings. In this webinar, we will define and explore one nursing school program’s experience in adding augmented, virtual, and mixed realities into nursing curricula. Experts from University of Central Florida will share their experience and what they wished they would have known prior to incorporating these technologies. Please join us to discuss lessons learned and how we can be best prepared for the future.
Course Objectives:
1. Define augmented, virtual, and mixed realities (AR/VR/XR).
2. Discuss at least three exemplars of AR/VR/XR additions to curricula (current or future).
3. Illustrate at least two examples of what we wish we would have known.
