Jihane Frangieh is the Track Coordinator of the MSN Healthcare Organizational Leadership program. She is a seasoned nurse (20 years’ experience) with a clinical focus in neonatal nursing. She is an emerging health services researcher with a program of research focusing on work environment and healthcare quality assessment and improvement. Her research focus on the behaviors of the healthcare workforce, specifically, on the role of nursing leadership in creating and sustaining healthy work environments that produce positive outcomes for patients and nurses. She is interested in enhancing leadership skills of nurse leaders and consequently, improving patient’s outcome, organizational performance, and staff retention, through the development and implementation of evidence-based leadership programs. Jihane has passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring prospective students enabling them to reach their full potential. She is a recognized nurse leader and recipient of the Dorsye Russel Nursing Leadership Award.
