Hope Agen-Davis has worked as a psychiatric nurse in acute inpatient and outpatient settings for more than three decades and has taught clinical psychiatric nursing for several years.
Agen-Davis believes, like author and educator Parker Palmer, in creating an emotionally safe place for learning that will “increase our ability to expose our own ignorance, to ask hard questions, to challenge the validity of what others are saying, and to receive similar challenges in a spirit of growth.”
