Johns Hopkins University Disability Health Research Center (DHRC)
Using data-driven approaches to shift the paradigm from ‘living with a disability’ to ‘thriving with a disability.
The Disability Health Research Center (DHRC) is at the forefront of promoting health equity for people with disabilities through innovative and cross-disciplinary approaches. We understand that all roads lead to health equity, and we work across settings, from healthcare, food access, transportation, housing, education, employment, and civic engagement to address the barriers disabled people face. Our work is rooted in the perspectives of people with disabilities and is strategically designed to shorten the timeline from research to policy change and societal impact.
