Anesthesia Scholars Loan

The Anesthesia Scholars Loan is administered by the Johns Hopkins Hospital’s Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (ACCM). Recipients will receive money to help cover tuition, room and board, and book expenses for the last year of their JHSON academic program. The funding will be in the form of a forgivable loan and recipients must commit to and fulfil a three-year work obligation with ACCM at the Johns Hopkins Hospital or Bayview Medical Center. Students must submit an application to be considered for the funding. Additional information can be found below.

  • Awarded students receive money to help cover their last year of their academic program, which is currently valued at up to $63,000.

  • Recipients must commit to and fulfill a three-year work obligation as a Nurse Anesthetist with ACCM at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Recipients receive competitive pay and a signing bonus.

  • Upon completion of the 3 year work obligation, recipients have their tuition loan forgiven.

Student Eligibility:

Students enrolled in the second year of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Nurse Anesthesia program.
