Wonkyung Jung

Biography

Wonkyung Jung is a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing RESILIENCE Center. She earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Washington in 2022. Her clinical experience in neuro-critical care has been the foundation of her research. Her dissertation explored how older adults integrate the experience of traumatic brain injury (TBI) into their lives and how social integration may influence cognitive functioning. Currently, her work focuses on improving the health and functional outcomes of older adults with disabilities and their caregivers using human-centered design.
