Marcus D. Henderson, MSN, RN, FNAP is a PhD Candidate, NIH/NIMH Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Predoctoral Fellow, and 2024-2026 Jonas Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Marcus is a dynamic psychiatric nurse and leader with experience as a clinician and educator in community-based, inpatient psychiatric, and academic settings. His dissertation explores the critical role of parents in adolescent suicide prevention using a mixed methods approach, specifically examining the psychosocial factors associated with parental self-efficacy in preventing suicidal behavior.
