Emily Hoppe is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In her practice, she observed structural barriers that make it difficult for parents to provide the safe, stable, and nurturing environments they desire for their children. Her research focuses on strengthening family and community protective factors and supporting caregivers to promote healthy child development. In addition to her research, she is a certified Chicago Parent Program (CPP) group leader and trainer and co-developer of Chicago Parent Program – Individualized for Families (CPPi).
