Alexandra Peary is a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine in 2022, and practiced as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics before beginning her doctoral training in 2024. She is interested in understanding how obesity treatment approaches affect musculoskeletal health and how co-interventions may improve functional outcomes in adults with overweight or obesity. In her role at the Chao Lab, she also serves as a research assistant and interventionist on two clinical trials evaluating pharmacological and behavioral interventions for obesity.
