Help Build a JHU Climate Dashboard
Save the date! Please join us 11 am-1 pm Thursday, February 20 at the Carey Business School to envision a new climate dashboard tool for Johns Hopkins affiliates.
About the workshop: An interdisciplinary team is creating a web dashboard to visualize emissions from business travel as a Campus as a Living Lab project that supports JHU’s Climate Action and Sustainability Plan. Join a human-centered design workshop where faculty and staff chart a course for positive change. Lunch will be served.
The dashboard will:
• Communicate the climate emissions impact of business travel to faculty and administrative leaders,
• Enable estimates of air travel scope 3 emissions to allow for better decision-making, and
• Foster an enabling environment for mitigation efforts to address scope 3 emissions, which will follow on later and be driven by faculty and staff priorities.
