We are excited to announce that Dr. Matthew R. D'Angelo, DNP, CRNA, MHPE, MSS, FAANA, has joined the SON as the new program director for the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. Dr. D'Angelo brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as division chief at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Division of Nurse Anesthesia, along with over 33 years of dedicated service. In addition to his academic achievements, he currently holds the rank of colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. Please join us in warmly welcoming him to the School of Nursing!

Welcome, Macy Young!

Macy Young, MSPH, joins SON Neighborhood Care Pathways this week as senior research coordinator. Macy brings experience from two Johns Hopkins clinical trials—Making Engagement Meaningful through Organized, Regular Interaction (“MEMORI”) Corps and Maximizing Independence at Home (“MIND at Home”). She will coordinate research piloting a tiered-care navigation model supporting healthy aging in East Baltimore’s resource-limited neighborhoods. Welcome, Macy!

Chat Session for MSN Entry into Nursing

The online chat is a great way to ask any questions you may have, or see other questions being asked that you may not have thought to ask yourself. An abundance of information is discussed and we hope you will join us. 10/25 MSN Entry into Nursing Open House

The Office of Admissions will host an Open House for prospective students interested in our Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Entry into Nursing program. The event will include a question and answer session with faculty, current students, admissions, financial aid, an immersive simulation demonstration, and interactive course sampling to showcase our enhanced nursing education.
