This month’s Diversity Dimensions virtual session will celebrate and discuss LGBTQIA+ Pride at the School of Nursing. Alexander Murphy, assistant director of admissions for Diversity Initiatives and Recruitment, will facilitate this discussion where participants can learn more about ways to be involved with LGBTQIA+ Health at Johns Hopkins and the greater Baltimore community.

New Issue, New Website
The Spring 2024 issue of Johns Hopkins Nursing magazine is available right now on a brand-new website. Thinking globally, read about the life-changing takeaways of DNP student Andrea Lizarraga Sikic and MSN student Mashuda Aly from a recent Center for Global Initiatives-led journey to Guatemala (pictured), plus see faculty members Yvonne Commodore-Mensah and Matilda Decker work policy and education channels to solve a nursing migration problem in their native Ghana. More locally, meet a Maryland alumnus who ran for Congress, and thinks more people (from different backgrounds) should do the same. Or, look back at previous articles and issues in a whole new format. And watch for the paper issue in magazine racks and mailboxes soon.
