New Faculty

Two new faculty members join JHSON this week as associate professors awaiting rank:

Shaquita Starks, PhD, APRN, FNP, PMHNP-BC, recently moved from Atlanta GA, where she was a clinical assistant professor at Emory University. She will support the Psychiatric Mental Health NP program.

Jeanne Moore, DNP, FNP-BC, comes from Catholic University in Washington DC, where she served as a clinical associate professor. She will support the DNP Family Nurse Practitioner track.

Applications open for 2025-26 SOURCE Service-Learning Academy

SOURCE is accepting faculty applications for the 2025-26 Service-Learning Academy, a comprehensive program that equips fellows with tools to develop critical service-learning partnerships and courses. The Academy is intended for faculty who are new to service-learning, currently teaching service-learning courses, and other staff. Full-time JHU faculty are eligible for tuition remission. Apply through March 1.

Chat Session for Advanced MSN, DNP, PhD Programs

This online chat, 3-4 pm Monday, February 17, is a great way to ask any questions you may have, or see other questions being asked that you may not have thought to ask yourself. An abundance of information is discussed and we hope you will join us. Be sure your computer has Java properly installed and enabled, and your pop up blocker is turned off in order to successfully log into the chat. Chat sessions will become active 15 minutes before the start time to allow students to join. Audience: Public, Students
