Madeline Quinn, a student in the SON’s DNP Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist program, has been selected as a finalist in the all JHU doctoral student Empower Your Pitch (EYP) competition! This competition provides an opportunity to showcase exciting inquiry conducted by JHU doctoral students.
Madeline’s presentation is titled Through Their Eyes: A Day in the Life of an ICU Nurse – A Simulation for Nurses and Their Families. This innovative project features scenarios that pediatric ICU nurses at Children’s Nebraska in Omaha experience in providing care to critically ill children and their families. She will deliver her presentation at the EYP competition finals, 3-6 pm Tuesday April 8. Good luck, Madeline!

The Office of Admissions will host an in-person Open House for prospective students interested in onsite programs, including the MSN Entry into Nursing and the DNP Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner programs.
Each prospective student may bring one guest to the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with program faculty and current students through individualized agendas, as well as learn more about the opportunities available throughout the program.
