2025 Nexus Awards
Sixteen SON researchers have been selected to receive funding from the university’s Nexus Awards program over the next year for convenings, research, and teaching endeavors. SON Nexus projects span primary care, Neighborhood Nursing, and workforce development for midwives, along with initiatives to investigate the relationship between family caregivers and paid direct care, and more. Grant awardees include Eliana Perrin, Lisa Cooper, Cheryl Dennison Himmelfarb, Katherine Ornstein, Kali Thomas, Catherine Ling, Kathy McDonald, Ashley Gresh, Noelene Jeffers, Olga Yakusheva, Laura Samuel, Sarah Szanton, Andre Nogueira, Vincent Guilamo Ramos, Natalia Barolin, and Dan Polsky.
