As Counsel General for ICOWHI, Patricia Davidson, PhD, MEd, RN, FAAN, Dean of the JHSON, says investing in a global community of clinicians and supporters is fundamental to improving women’s health. “In order to effect change, we must understand the universal experiences and health problems of women, while recognizing the policies, infrastructures, and cultural factors that differ and influence communities globally. This conference is an opportunity to create and further networks, strengthen existing models of care, and identify innovative solutions that can be leveraged across the world.”
More than 100 experts from across the globe, including 15 faculty and students from the JHSON, will give presentations and serve as moderators for group discussions. The event will feature representatives from universities and institutions in Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, China, Thailand, Austria, South Africa, and more.
The lineup of key speakers includes researchers and providers from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston University, the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, and more.
