Students from the Geriatric Interest Group, an organization of students from the Johns Hopkins schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health, organized a “Senior Prom” for residents of the nearby Apostolic Towers senior housing complex on Saturday, February 7.
The activity offered residents an opportunity to listen to music, dance, eat, relax and have fun together with students who value the older generation. Each guest received a corsage or boutonniere, and appetizers and finger foods were provided. And, much as is done at any prom, participants also had their photographs taken.
