The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing has launched a new website URL address: www.nursing.jhu.edu. This new URL enables prospective students, visitors and other community members to search online for the school more easily, as well as to identify the site with the field of nursing. The change also aligns the School of Nursing more closely with the address of the university’s main website: www.jhu.edu.
The new website address is just one of many improvements to the redesigned website, launched earlier this spring, with a focus on “The New Face of Nursing: People, Places, Possibilities.” With user-centered design and navigation, and a visual balance of graphics and text, the school’s new website engages visitors and improves their experience. Recent enhancements to the website include a reformatted news page, the addition of share features, and more faculty information. More features to be integrated throughout this year include photo galleries, an interactive map for directions, and a new online magazine format.
