“The New Face of Nursing: People, Places, Possibilities”it’s a new look for the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.  Clean, bright, smart, and colorful, the new message and graphics are reflected in the school’s website and viewbook and provides a glimpse into the future of the profession.

“Our materials now reflect what we tell the world,” says Dean Martha N. Hill, PhD, RN, FAAN.  “The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is a place where exceptional people discover possibilities that forever change their lives and the world.”

With user-centered design and navigation and a pleasing visual balance of graphics, text, and photos, the school’s newly redesigned website draws in and engages its visitors.  The content illustrates the depth and breadth of the Hopkins nursing academic community and showcases the academic programs and research activities.   The new warmer color palette which includes the University’s black and gold, plus the apricot of nursing, the green of medicine, and the salmon of public health was strategically chosen to introduce a fresh and inviting visual experience.  Visit the new site at www.son.jhmi.edu.

Complementing the website is the publication of a new viewbook, full of large photographs and punctuated with images and quotes from the exceptional people of the School, an overview of important places around the school and Baltimore community, and an exploration of the possibilities that await the Hopkins nurse.
