Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing intimate partner violence researchers Nancy Glass, MPH, RN, and Jacquelyn Campbell, PhD, RN, FAAN, have been tapped by local media to give expert commentary on recent Baltimore-area murder-suicides.
Glass, an Associate Professor, was a guest on the Marc Steiner Show on Tuesday April 21, 2009. As a member of a panel of experts, Glass and colleagues discussed the tie between violent crime and the economic crisis and explored how today’s financial environment ties in to human anxiety and depression.
Campbell, Professor and Anna D. Wolf Chair, was interviewed the next day, Wednesday, April 22, on WYPR’s Midday with Dan Rodricks. Campbell and Rodricks discussed the latest in a spate of domestic violence incidents involving intra-family murders in the Baltimore area. Both Glass and Campbell are members of the SON department of Community Public Health.
