Johns Hopkins School of Nursing Ranked No. 1 Nursing Program by Mometrix

or

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing (JHSON) has been named by Mometrix as the best nursing program in the United States. The test preparation company ranked JHSON No. 1 out of 30 top nursing schools.

“It is always exciting and encouraging to be highly ranked for the work we do as a school and within the profession,” says Dean Patricia Davidson, PhD, MEd, RN, FAAN. “Recognitions like this help showcase our stellar faculty and students and their incredible commitment to education and innovation within nursing.”

The organization cited Hopkins for its long reputation of being among the highest-ranked schools within publications like U.S. News & World Report, Nursing School Hub, Best Nursing Colleges, and others. The ranking also took into account National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding, faculty accolades received from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, and National Council Licensure Examination results. The school was highlighted for being named one of the “premier nursing training programs in the country” and “most cutting edge degree programs in the nation.”

For 2017, JHSON has been ranked as the nation’s No. 1 graduate nursing program by U.S. News & World Report, as well as No. 2 for its Doctor of Nursing Practice program and top 10 among online nursing programs. QS World University ranked the school No. 2 in the world, and College Choice named it the No. 1 master’s in nursing program.
