Pilot study funding-$20,000 each to three studies this year-is now available through the Center for Collaborative Intervention Research (CCIR) at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) School of Nursing (SON). The Center and the annual funding of pilot studies stimulate research alliances among health care disciplines, including nursing, public health, and medicine. JHU faculty may apply for 2006-2007 funding by completing an online Intent to Submit form by April 25, 2006.
The pilot project funds are available to doctorally prepared, full-time faculty from disciplines across JHU who incorporate SON faculty as members of their research team. New investigators or experienced investigators moving in new directions are given priority, although all studies must focus on some aspect of intervention research. To apply or learn more about these pilot study grants, visit the CCIR webpage at: http://www.son.jhmi.edu/research/ccir/resources/.
