2009 Graduation Ceremony to be Webcast Live

The 2009 Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON) Diploma and Awards Ceremony will be available via live webcast for the first time with this years Ceremony, on May 21, 2009, beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT.  The Ceremony will be held at The Lyric Opera House in downtown Baltimore for all 2009 graduating students and their guests.  Visit the JHUSON website to view the webcast at www.nursing.jhu.edu

Mary Woolley, president of Research!America, will be the graduation speaker at the event.  Woolley is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and serves on the Governing Council of the Institute of Medicine. She is a founding member of the Board of Associates of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. Under Woolleys leadership, Research!America has earned the attention and respect of elected and appointed officials, researchers in the public, private and academic sectors, media, and community leaders with its record of innovation in advocacy for research.
