Initial Support
The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) in conjunction with the Biostatistics Center offers all JHU research faculty, staff and post-doctoral fellows a maximum of 5 hours of FREE support per project. Consultants can assist with research study design, design of data collection systems and instruments, data entry and validation, data management and quality assurance, statistical analysis and data interpretation, and professional and scientific report-writing.
All SON research faculty, staff and post-doctoral fellows should submit a request directly to the ICTR for initial support.

Additional Support
If additional support is needed after initial consultation with the ICTR consultant, SON faculty or post-doctoral fellows may submit a request to the Office for Science and Innovation. PhD students should consult with Dr. Chakra Budhathoki for additional support. Please be advised that in cases of substantial intellectual contribution, the consultant should be considered for co-authorship on any resulting abstracts or manuscripts and as appropriate, could be included as a co-investigator or consultant in the proposal.
In cases where more extensive long term statistical assistance is required, additional funding may be needed to cover additional time and support.
Submit a Request
A completed request form is required before an appointment can be scheduled. It is also requested that the researcher share relevant study background materials prior to the initial consultation. After you have submitted an online request, you will be contacted to schedule a meeting.
