Overview

Dr. Stashinko has worked with JHSON in the past including recently as part time faculty in our DNP program. She previously resided in the Neurology department at JHSOM and as Director of Nursing Research at KKI. Her clinical practice focus is on child health nursing. Her research and publications focus on the epidemiology of brain injury, health-related quality of life, and treatment of movement disorders in children with cerebral palsy. Dr. Stashinko also has served on the JHMIRB for 9 years and has specific expertise in research administration and federal and institutional human subjects research regulatory requirements. She serves as Co-Chair of the SON Project Ethical Review Committee (PERC) and meets with DNP students preparing their scholarly projects for PERC submissions.
