Time Commitment

THRIVE participants will be in the program for 6 months. We will check your blood pressure and weight, collect a blood sample and urine, and do blood tests at the start, midpoint (12 weeks), and end (24 weeks). Over the project, participants will complete a series of surveys. This will take about 30 minutes each time. Participants will receive gift cards for completing study activities. 

Compensation

Eligible participants will receive $30 worth of weekly produce and up to $35 for each study visit. 

Who do we need? 

You are eligible if you: 

• Are older than 18 
• Self-identify as Black/African American or Hispanic 
• Screen with us for elevated blood pressure 
• Live in neighborhoods that have limited access to healthy produce
