Maternal Health Equity Toolkit

The Maternal Health Equity Toolkit was designed to support hospital-based maternal care unit/department leaders and quality improvement specialists implement equity-focused interventions. The toolkit offers practical resources to support units/departments to understand the maternal health disparities that exist among the patients they serve and take steps to eliminate them while creating a more equitable culture of care that will benefit all. While the toolkit was created for Maryland hospitals, its recommendations and resources can benefit healthcare institutions in other states and countries.
