Dr. Sijung Yun is a distinguished computational biologist and bioinformatic scientist, with a rich background in genomic data analysis. Since earning a Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Dr. Yun has focused extensively on bioinformatics analysis, applying his expertise to advance healthcare with Dr. Gill’s lab. His work is predominantly focused on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis, including DNA sequencing (DNA-seq), RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq).
Since 2017, Dr. Yun has been an adjunct faculty member at the Advanced Academic Programs of Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches genomic data analysis.
