Marjorie Everson is the Director of the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Track in the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She has previous experience as a program director and faculty member.

Dr. Everson’s clinical experiences include cardiac, trauma, and general outpatient cases. Research interests include the impact of disasters on nurse anesthesiology practice and/or education; production pressure; patient safety; and closed claims. She is actively involved in professional advocacy both on the state and national level. She earned a BSN from Southeastern Louisiana University, an MS from the Charity Hospital/Xavier University School of Nurse Anesthesia, and a PhD from Virginia Commonwealth University.
