Gayle Page, known for her scientific inquiries into the biobehavioral impact of early pain experiences on susceptibility to the development of persistent pain or depression at maturity, also collaborated across disciplines to promote further understanding of the biological and behavioral aspects of acute and chronic stress throughout the lifespan. Dr. Page willingly shared her knowledge of basic and applied research broadly with fellow faculty, new researchers, and nursing students at all levels of education.
