Erin Wright is passionate about helping students understand and develop excellence for nursing in women’s health areas. She is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and a board-certified Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse. Dr. Wright provides clinical care to patients in Baltimore City. Her clinical areas of expertise include mind-body medicine, trauma informed care, labor support, and high-risk pregnancies. Her current research focuses on occupational health concerns for nurses and midwives. She is a past president and vice president of the Maryland Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM). Nationally, she works with the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance as a Woman-to-Woman mentor, in the Survivors Teaching Students program, and as an Advocate Leader. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and the American College of Nurse Midwives.
