Dimensions of Nursing: Speak Up – the Importance of Advocacy and Policy in Nursing

Date/Time:
Tuesday, May 27, 2025 (3:00pm – 4:00pm)

Details:
The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is committed to highlighting the experiences, research, and practice of various identities belonging to our nursing community. It is a priority for us to amplify the voices belonging to underrepresented communities while providing equitable and accessible opportunities for education and healthcare within our Nursing programs.

For this month, our Dimensions of Nursing virtual session will explore the Importance of Advocacy and Policy in Nursing. Each month will highlight diverse and unique populations within our community. Alexander Murphy, assistant director of Admissions for diversity initiatives and recruitment, will facilitate how first-generation students find success and support during their academic journey.
