In the United States, over 6 million children and youth act as caregivers for older adults or siblings with chronic conditions. Research shows that caregiving responsibilities can affect students’ academic and mental health.

Join us for a special hybrid event on September 22nd from 9-11am featuring JHU School of Nursing alum Dr. Connie Siskowski and a distinguished panel of healthcare experts as they discuss education, research, and policy surrounding youth and child caregivers. Dr. Siskowski is the Founder and President of the American Association of Caregiving Youth, a national organization to advocate, support, and celebrate caregiving youth.
