Over 200 students attended the Spring Open House at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (JHUSON) on February 27, and more than 250 accepted students showed up for the school’s Accepted Students Day on March 5.

Accepted students and their families came from more than twenty states to attend a full day of activities that included “meet ‘n greets” with faculty and students, information sessions, and a tour of the campus. Representatives from various Hopkins and non-Hopkins affiliated organizations were on hand to talk with students about housing options, extracurricular activities, and academic supplies.

“We had another great turnout of prospective students,” said Mary ORourke, director of admissions at the SON. “It’s good to know that so many people are interested in nursing, and especially, interested in Hopkins nursing.”
