The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing Diploma and Award Ceremony was held the afternoon of May 20 on the Homewood campus in Shriver Hall.

This year’s guest speaker was May Wykle, PhD, RN, FAAN, Dean and Florence Cellar Professor of Nursing at the Case Western Reserve University Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. She is also immediate past president of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. Dr. Wykle’s presentation was titled “The Changing Face of Nursing.”

Graduating from the School of Nursing this year are 248 students: 65 BSN’s in the traditional class; 116 BSN’s in the accelerated class; 39 MSN’s; 9 MSN/MBA’s; 14 MSN/MPH’s; 4 DNSC’s; and 3 PhD’s.

In addition to receiving their diplomas, several students received awards. They are as follows:
