Every room you walk into is an opportunity — and your story is the key.
This interactive workshop blends the art of personal storytelling, the science of relationship-building, and the practice of delivering a pitch that truly resonates. Participants will explore how to move beyond small talk and cultivate an authentic, confident professional presence that leaves a lasting impression.
Whether you are building new connections, strengthening your network, or learning how to clearly communicate your value, this session will provide practical strategies to help your story land with purpose and impact — because your story deserves to be heard.
This workshop is open to all Hopkins faculty and staff and is hosted by the Center for Staff Life Design in partnership with the Black Faculty Staff Association (BFSA) Professional Development Committee.
Registration is required for all attendees, as space is limited.
