Student

Nezar Salim is a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing with over 15 years of experience in oncology and palliative care. He is an NIH T32 trainee with a strong focus on health equity and symptom management. His research centers on the use of virtual reality as an innovative, non-pharmacological intervention to improve pain management and patient experience among palliative care populations. His work aims to generate evidence that informs patient-centered care and supports the integration of immersive technologies into clinical practice.
