Claire Wang is a PhD student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She holds a MHS in Health, Behavior and Society from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, with concentrations in public health, gerontology, and human geography. Her research focuses on social frailty and its role in cognitive aging and dementia risk among community-dwelling older adults. Using a multi-method approach, her work aims to identify modifiable social disparities and inform future community-based interventions that promote both cognitive resilience and healthy aging.
