The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical & Translational Research invites you to attend our next ICTR Lunch & Learn to reflect on the importance of the National Research Act of 1974 in shaping our current system of Human Research Protections. Important lessons can be learned from the evolution of human research protections requirements and can help us with modern-day research challenges in research involving human research participants.
Attendees will learn about the history of human research protections requirements and receive practical tips to apply the lessons learned from historical reflection to their current research.
Speaker: Megan Kasimatis Singleton, JD, MBE, CIP, Associate Dean, Human Research Protections and Director of the Human Research Protections Program
