Schedule of Events

10:00 a.m. - Class photographs- Shriver Hall stairs (weather permitting)

10:30 a.m. - Check in/Lineup for processional

11:00 a.m. – Processional 

12:30 p.m. – Approximate completion of ceremony (lunch on your own with family & friends)


Each student will be allowed 5 guest tickets for this graduation ceremony.  Tickets will be available after February 13, 2017.  If you require additional tickets please work with your classmates to obtain them.  STUDENT AFFAIRS IS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT DUE TO LIMITED SPACE. TICKETS WILL BE CHECKED AT THE AUDITORIUM DOORS WHEN GUESTS ARRIVE.

Academic Regalia 

Academic Regalia is required for the ceremony. You will be able to order regalia through Oak Hall.  If you have any questions or need assistance, contact Megan Barrett at or 410-955-7545


Academic Regalia Fee Structure:

Master's Outfit (Keeper): $90.00
Doctoral Outfit (Rental): $120.00
JHU Doctoral Outfit (Purchase): $898.00

Parking & Campus Maps

Guest parking is available in the South Garage, which is located adjacent to Mason Hall.  If this garage is full guests will be directed to the San Martin Garage, which is #61 on the Campus Map.  Shuttle Service will be available from the San Martin Garage to Shriver Hall.

Shriver Hall, the ceremony location, is # 64 on the Campus Map.


Accessible Drop off Location

If you have a guest(s) that needs an accessible entrance at the venue, we are offering a drop off location behind Shriver Hall.  You will be able to access this location off of Wyman Park Drive near Mason Hall. There will be staff stationed on Wyman Park Drive to direct you to the drop off location and accessible entrance. If you have any questions about drop off please call 410-955-7549.

Accessibility Accommodations

For special needs seating please contact Megan Barrett in the Office of Student Affairs,, 410-955-7549 to reserve seating.  Wheelchair seating for guests is limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
