We Are Hopkins Nursing

We Are Hopkins Nursing

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing respectfully acknowledges and gives thanks to the Piscataway Tribe, including the Piscataway-Conoy Tribe of Maryland and Cedarville Band of Piscataway, the Indigenous People who are traditional owners of the lands of the Chesapeake Bay region.

We also acknowledge all Indigenous Peoples, the traditional owners of the lands and waters of the United States of America.

Diversity does not exist in silos.

Instead, it lives in all aspects of the nursing experience. It is critical for strong science, strong communities, and a strong profession. And that’s why, at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, we approach diversity, equity, and inclusion as a long-term investment.

Stories are coming throughout summer 2021 that explore how we live our commitment. For now, you can learn about behind-the-scenes initiatives in place to drive our mission forward.
