3rd Annual Lavinia Dock Lecture Series

Lavinia Dock was a pioneer both in nursing education at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and social activism, fighting disparities among women, immigrants, and the working poor with information. Her reason and her tenaciousness set a clear path for 21st-century researchers who mobilize nursing science to push social justice.

A special thank you to guest lecturer, Dr. Vincent Guilamo-Ramos PhD, MPH, RN, FAAN, distinguished professor of the Duke University School of Nursing and Vice Chancellor for Nursing Affairs.
