Fall 2021 marks our first White Coat Ceremony since COVID-19 began to be conducted in person (for students, in hybrid format so families and friends could join online), our first in our completed building renovation, and our first with new Dean Sarah Szanton. Our keynote speaker is Robert Carter, Senior Director of the Office of Emergency Management for the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
This is an extraordinary moment to become a nurse. Advice from our keynote speaker? “Look at the work in front of you as opportunity. Be brave. Much will be new and intimidating, do it anyway.”
