A Dive into the State of the World’s Nursing Report, 2020, from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing

The Seventy-second World Health Assembly designated 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife to honor the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale and to recognize the daily contributions of nurses and midwives to the health and well-being of populations across the globe.

In this special edition of the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing’s Dean’s Podcast, Patricia Davidson, PhD, MEd, RN, FAAN, is joined by three guests who were involved in developing the report to discuss some of the report’s most important data on nursing globally. There is also special consideration given to how the report is especially impactful during this unprecedented time of COVID-19.
