The event hosted special guests Mary McAndrew, daughter of Fogarty founder Rep. John Edward Fogarty, and current Fogarty director Dr. Roger Glass. The deans of nursing (Dr. Patricia Davidson), public health (Dr. Ellen MacKenzie) and medical faculty (Dr. Paul Rothman) opened the event. Then Dr. Glass discussed future trends in global health, followed by Dr. Jason Farley, who talked about building a successful, interdisciplinary global health career. Then a panel of mentors and mentees talked about building their relationships and how Fogarty funding has advanced their research.
