For 15 years, Hopkins Nursing faculty members, particularly Elizabeth Sloand, PhD, RN, PNP-BC, have led groups of students to Haiti, where they have witnessed unimaginable poverty and tragedy (a devastating 2010 earthquake) but also beauty and inspiration.
