Second Annual Spring Tea Held at Hopkins

Second Annual Spring Tea Held at Hopkins

On May 5, a group of 40 nursing alumni from Church Home and Johns Hopkins gathered for Tea at the School of Nursing. Phoebe LeTocha presented information about the archives and how to view photos and collections on the website. Guests also enjoyed memorabilia that Phoebe brought, including yearbooks, dolls, uniforms, and a replica of the bouquet given by Florence Nightingale to Isabel Hampton Robb on her wedding day.

The raffle of the Longaberger basket raised $110 and was won by Penny Haviland, CHH ‘63. Thank you to Barbara Dibble Taber, CHH ‘71; Martha Wheeler Addison, CHH ‘75; and Lisa Kowal, JHU ‘06, for the donation of door prizes. Incidentally, the “Berger Cookie Pie” won by Yetive Hull Habicht, CHH ‘66, can be purchased at Dangerously Delicious Pies in Canton Square.
